Portraying Jamie Johnson

I recently had the honor of photographing filmmaker / fashion designer Jamie Johnson. During the brief two hours we spent together we were able to capture some really great portraits. The images will be running in next month’s Manhattan Magazine and also in Miami Modern Luxury. – special thanks to Richard Martin for offering me yet another great opportunity and also to Tyler Harris for assisting me on this shoot

Motalen Photos

Although these images may look computer generated they are actually photographs I took for designer Fairchild Fries and the apps developing company Motalen. Granted there is a nominal element of retouching in them, each image is a photograph abstracting an everyday object, material, or substance. The results are three uniquely different textures and color palates. Each respectively evokes a different mood and successfully lends itself to the individual Motalen App it represents.

His tender glance
settled on her,
flitted on and off
like a cabbage-white.

Europa stretched out her hand
and touched him

    and the being

who hid like a stowaway
inside him.
